Visionox supplies screens! Faurecia exhibits 14.2-inch automotive sliding and curling OLED
Faurecia exhibited a 14.2-inch in-vehicle sliding and curling AMOLED display at the Shanghai Auto Show held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center from April 23 to May 2, 2025. The screen supplier is Visionox, and this product has been used in Hongqi Guoya.
At the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show, Hongqi's ultra-luxury executive sedan "Hongqi Guoya" was unveiled, equipped with a "national style flexible in-vehicle scroll screen", which is the world's first in-vehicle sliding and curling AMOLED display.
According to reports, the screen comes from the world's first 14.2-inch in-vehicle sliding and curling AMOLED central control screen launched by Visionox. Using the UTG (ultra-thin flexible glass) solution, the screen thickness is only 0.80mm, the overall weight is less than 250g, and the sliding and curling exceeds 200,000 times.
The screen has an ultra-high contrast ratio of more than 1000000:1 and ultra-low reflectivity, which can reduce glare in dark light environments at night, and maintain excellent readability in high-intensity light environments to ensure safe driving.
Thanks to the wide temperature difference advantage of the AMOLED screen, the screen can work normally in the range of -40℃~85℃, and the response time is only 0.5ms at a low temperature of -40℃.
Visionox previously stated that the bendability, lightness and other characteristics of flexible AMOLED are more suitable for the complex space inside the car, and can achieve a high degree of matching between the flexible screen and the interior design of the car, bringing a more immersive experience to users.
